Anthony DeMiglio

President

Anthony DeMiglio founded AMD Environmental in 2010. Since then, AMD has taken root as one of the foremost authorities on environmental health and safety in the Buffalo and WNY area.


He has over 20 years of experience assessing and treating hazardous environments with a background stemming from extensive safety & health management, HUD Grant management, environmental consulting, project management, and contaminants investigation activities.

John Doucette

Field Manager

John Doucette brought over 10 years of experience in the environmental industry when he joined AMD as a Field Supervisor in 2015. John earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the State University of New York at Buffalo.


Throughout his career he has completed hundreds of site investigations for public, private, residential and commercial clientele as an inspector, and has nearly 4 years experience as a field supervisor managing environmental projects and a team of field technicians. John’s current certifications include: Asbestos Inspector, Asbestos Project Monitor and Air Sampling Technician, Lead-based Paint Risk Assessor/Inspector, and Mold Assessor.

Jonathan Wolf

General Manager

As an environmental consultant, Jonathan Wolf has performed hazardous materials inspections, project oversight, and air sampling services for our clients. As Office Manager, Mr. Wolf is responsible for project scheduling and ensuring that our field personnel are prepared for the project they are working on.


His duties include scheduling, report building and project bid submissions. Mr. Wolf began at AMD as a Project and Air Monitor and Inspector, and has firsthand experience with the day-to-day health and safety challenges our workers are faced with. His experience and oversight allows AMD to provide the highest standards for our clients.

David Batt

Lead Projects Manager

David Batt joined AMD in 2016 with nearly 20 years experience in the environmental industry. Dave earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Earth Science from Buffalo State College.


Dave currently manages all of AMD’s lead inspection projects, including lead risk assessments, sampling and clearances. In addition to his lead risk assessor certifications, Dave’s current certifications include Asbestos Inspector, Asbestos Project Monitor and Air Sampling Technician, Mold Assessor, and Radiation Safety Officer.

Stephanie Austin

Lab Manager

Stephanie has held the Director and Quality Officer position for AMD’s laboratory division since the laboratory’s acquisition in 2014. Stephanie earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master of Business Administration from Canisius College in Buffalo, NY. She has prior experience in operations management, and she has attended intensive training courses at the McCrone Research Institute in Chicago to study microscope technique, environmental analyses and fungal spore identification.


Stephanie is responsible for the laboratory’s daily operations, development and implementation of standard operating procedures, quality assurance/quality control systems within the laboratory, and maintaining test method certifications and accreditations.
