Anthony DeMiglio founded AMD Environmental in 2010. Since then, the company has taken root as one of the foremost authorities on environmental health and safety in the Buffalo and WNY area.
He has over 20 years of experience assessing and treating hazardous environments with a background stemming from extensive safety and health management, HUD grant management, environmental consulting, project management and contaminants investigation activities.
John Doucette
Field Manager
John Doucette brought over 10 years of experience in the environmental industry when he joined AMD Environmental as a field supervisor in 2015. John earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
Throughout his career, John has completed hundreds of site investigations for public, private, residential and commercial clientele as an inspector, and has nearly four years experience as a field supervisor managing environmental projects and a team of field technicians. John’s current certifications include asbestos inspector, asbestos project monitor and air sampling technician, lead-based paint risk assessor/inspector and mold assessor.
As an environmental consultant, Jonathan has performed hazardous materials inspections, project oversight, and air sampling services for our clients. As office manager, Jonathan is responsible for project scheduling and ensuring that our field personnel are prepared for the project they are working on.
His duties include scheduling, report building and project bid submissions. Jonathan started out as an AMD Environmental project and air monitor and inspector, and has firsthand experience with the day-to-day health and safety challenges our workers are faced with. His experience and oversight empowers us to provide the highest standards for our clients.
David Batt
Lead Projects Manager
David Batt joined AMD Environmental in 2016 with nearly 20 years’ experience in the environmental industry. Dave earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Earth Science from Buffalo State College.
Dave manages all of AMD’s lead inspection projects, including lead risk assessments, sampling and clearances. In addition to his lead risk assessor certifications, his current certifications include asbestos inspector, asbestos project monitor and air sampling technician, mold assessor and radiation safety officer.
Joylyn joined AMD Environmental Consultants as a lab analyst in June 2015 and later earned the position of Technical Director and Quality Officer position for AMD's laboratory division in June 2019. She currently holds the position of Laboratory Director.
Joylyn earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the State University of New York at Fredonia in Fredonia, NY. She has prior experiences in sample analysis and management and has attended ISO 17025 Accreditation training. She is also knowledgeable in NIOSH 7400 (Asbestos and Other Fibers) and ASTM D7391 (Categorization and Quantification of Airborne Fungal Structures) Methods and is proficient in fungal spore identification. Joylyn is responsible for the laboratory's daily operations, development, and implementation of standard operating procedures, quality assurance/quality control systems within the laboratory, and maintaining test method certifications and accreditations.
